COVID-19 Transition Information for Students
The University’s overwhelming commitment is to the health and safety of its students, faculty, and staff. Because of this, many classes have been moved to an online or remote format. Online/remote classes can present unique challenges. Communication is vital! You must communicate with SDS and your instructors if you find you need additional support and guidance. SDS and your instructors cannot help if we don’t know you are struggling!
Please be assured that accommodations approved through SDS will be provided, if requested and reasonable, in all classes regardless of format. Accommodations may look a little different in an online or remote environment, and students may find that some accommodations are not needed in these new class environments, but SDS will continue to collaborate with students and faculty to implement approved accommodations.
